We had a small wedding reception in the garden room. It was amazing! Guest were telling us it was one of the best reception spaces they have seen for a small wedding celebration. Food was so yummy!! Taylor was so helpful in working with us on making it perfect.

Attended Public House for a birthday dinner. The staff was friendly, but didn’t seem to know the menu. I ordered a Green Goddess salad with shrimp, French onion soup and a spicy margarita. The Green Goddess salad was good. The French onion soup was very bland. Initially I ordered the Camilla - a mango spicy margarita. However I was told it may not be available. Instead I requested a spicy margarita. What I received was horrible, I returned it and the 2nd drink was perfect. They ran out of fish chips which I ordered to go, in return I ordered a burger to go. Probably won’t go back.

Yas, yas, yas! Very LGBTQ+ friendly restaurant in the heart of super cute Ferndale, Public House was recommended because of it's vegan options and they did not disappoint. The interior was ultra cool, with a beautiful floral motif and a few rainbow flags, which made me feel pretty welcome. The menu has some dedicated vegan items (highlighted in a section of the menu), though it's not a vegan restaurant and I tried the Hot "Honey' Maitake, and my mom the Black Bean Burger, with some Brussels Sprouts to start. My burger was incredible, oozing with umami and my mom, who usually only eats half of her burgers, ate the whole thing so quickly I didn't even get a bite! The Brussels Sprouts were absolutely out of this world too. The staff were patient and lovely and as I mentioned, the decor really adds to the atmosphere in a positive way, yay!

The first time I went here, it was amazing. The food and service, all across. So of course, you would go back right? Completely different experience the second time around. I don't know if there was just a change in kitchen staff, but I ordered some of the same appetizers/entrees, and there was a noticeable difference in quality and taste. So a few months pass, I go again......just look at the picture....22 dollars for that ?! I ordered the salmon the first time I was there, and it was not that small...I feel like they gave me a kids meal. Their appetizers are not even that small. They took so many things off their menu, and then they were out of like three options on a saturday.....so yeah...that will be my last time eating there. Can't risk it a fourth time !
