To start, this place has a great selection of rare classic pinball machines. We visited at the end of the night and got our orders in before the kitchen closed. The atmosphere is warm and dark with a nice bar. Overhearing the employees chatter at the end of the night, they love working here.
The food was excellent and so were the drinks. We caught the donuts and the drinks on happy hour. Try the donuts! The jelly was amazing. We shared the chicken & sausage gumbo with shrimp added. The gumbo was perfect, maybe some of the best gumbo you will be able to find in the Detroit area. For entrees we tried the salmon and taco salad. The salmon was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The dish comes with coconut rice, only thing missing is a vegetable option for the dish. The taco salad is to die for.
This place is definitely worth the visit. The kitchen closed before we could order desert. We will be back for more!

The Fish & Chips was cooked to perfection. The bartender James made my 1st experience awesome during this particular weekend day. The weekday evening female bartender cannot compare, somewhat rude and dry personality. BUT I’m not going to let my 2nd experience stop me from going back. I do not recommend the jalapeño margarita, was pretty weak and mason glass FULL of ice as pictured. I enjoyed the atmosphere, food & draft IPA beer! 🍻

Returned recently and had a really great dinner. Their menu has some really great options right now - it was hard to choose!
Drinks: I ordered the Fall Fizz, and even though hubby was tempted by all the whiskey and beer options, he just went with a Two-Hearted. The fizz was delightful - I thought it might be too sweet, but it absolutely wasn't. So refreshing.
Food: I ordered the pork schnitzel and hubby had the fwanch deep. Order. The. Schnitzel. It's at the top of the entree list for a reason. You get 2 huge pieces of perfectly fried pork cutlet, the most amazing, buttery mashed potatoes, and garlicky homestyle green beans. I practically licked the plate and had enough to share with hubby. We will return just for that. The fwanch deep was also delicious - tender, savory beef on a soft roll with delicious jus, melty cheese, served with perfect homemade fries. Yum. We also started with the fire roasted wings, which were so good. Hubbu is hard to please with wings, and these were perfectly roasted, crispy and sweet.
I will say that they tried to seat us in the back next to the bathrooms where there was no one else really sitting...no thanks. It's so lively up front, so we definitely asked to sit there, and there was no problem.
Love Betty's and will return soon.

Had an amazing Friday night dinner at One-Eyed Betty's! 🍽️
Started off with a refreshing Moscow Mule and a Black Lotus – both were absolutely fantastic.
For appetizers, we tried the tuna nachos, and they were out of this world. Every bite was a perfect blend of flavors and textures. 😋 The highlight of the meal was the one-eyed oysters. Fresh, flavorful, and served perfectly🦪
I Finished with the Thai Peanut Chicken Wrap accompanied by an arugula salad. The wrap was packed with flavor, and the salad added a nice, light touch to the meal.
Overall, the food, drinks, and atmosphere at One-Eyed Betty's made for a perfect Friday night. Can't wait to come back!
