My husband and I came here for breakfast. From the outside it doesn't look the best, but once you walk inside there's many seats available, it looks like a typical diner. The service was great, very friendly. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced. The food was amazing! We both got skillets. There's parking next to the restaurant. Would definitely come back!

Absolutely love this little hidden gem on the Ferndale/Hazel Park border! We’ve been to Omega Hawg & Dawg Deli twice now and both times have been fantastic. The cheeseburgers are absolutely mouthwatering—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The fries crispy with just the right amount of seasoning—addictively good!
The vibe is small but mighty, with a welcoming staff that makes you feel right at home. It has this charming old-school 80s diner feel—like The Max from Saved by the Bell, but cozier. There’s never been a wait for a seat, and the outdoor patio is adorable with bright faux flowers that add a playful, inviting touch from the outside. Definitely a go-to spot when you’re craving a great burger and some nostalgic charm!

The food was excellent and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the service detracted from the experience. Our server came across as cold, abrupt, and unwelcoming. With so many great breakfast options in town, I prefer to dine where hospitality is as warm as the food. Professionalism and a positive attitude go a long way in creating a pleasant dining atmosphere.

I've been driving past this place for many years, not really noticing it. The other day I was looking for a breakfast joint and decided to give it a try. And oh boy am I glad I did.
The place is old school. But clean. Everyone is super friendly, and staff knew everyone (but me) by name. And boy do they have a brisk carry out business.
Breakfast is fantastic! Soups are equally as good. And here is how you know this place is quality. I order my eggs soft scrambled. This place nailed it twice (yes I came back 2 days later). I don't think I have ever gotten soft scrambled done properly at a breakfast joint. Sign of proper cooking technique.
Found my new favorite breakfast joint!

Literally don’t go here bc this is the most underrated classic diner & if everyone starts going I’ll be mad. Servers know me & my crew by name & it’s gotta stay that way! Stay away! (for real though with all the hipster brunch spots in Ferndale this one is NOT that. It’s the realest).
