ETA: I truly love this coffee and my partner wanted this today. We were in ferndale and so we tried it again. Our experience with Christina was awesome! Barista gave me my heart on my drink (no heart the 1st visit)! It was a great experience, amazing vibes, and awesome customer service! Thank you! Don’t forget to try the rosemary shorties!
Original review: First and last time to this location. Excellent latte and the flavor of the beans used are so good with a bold yet smooth taste. However, customer service sucked and made it difficult to enjoy my latte. Upon entering the establishment and arriving at the register no greeting was received despite eye contact being made while walking to the counter to place my order. I did not feel welcome here at all (approx 8a). Oddly enough, I went to the location on Jefferson and had a great experience with the cashier and the barista (around 4p) just yesterday. So great, that it led to me to google to see what other locations they have so I didn’t have to drive downtown again, which prompted my visit to Ferndale.

The Red Hook makes some of the best lattes, cortados, espressos, and has really good specialty coffee. I always enjoy visiting and highly recommend the Golden Milk Latte for non-coffee drinkers.

Red hook is one of my favorite coffee shops in town. They have my favorite coffee which is a tonic water and espresso along with great pastries.

This is best coffee shop in the metro Detroit Area. The baked goods are all made in house and they all taste amazing. You know they make everything with real ingratiates and love because they are so satiating. I usually get either a quiche or a scone, but they also have homemade pop-tarts which can be a nice treat. The lattes are made with quality whole milk that allows for the right blend of creaminess and flavor (they also have alternative milk options as well). I can't recommend this place enough!

One of the best coffee shops I’ve stopped at in a while! They have unique offerings like a charcoal latte (which I got) and the basics as well. The charcoal latte was super creamy and a total delight. They offer vegan and non-vegan baked goods. Vegan ones were awesome. Ginger molasses cookie reminded me of the holidays because of the gingerbread flavor
