The overall atmosphere was great! Nice quaint spot with a unique flair. The menu items were creative and made it hard to choose. But what I had was very tasty and I will definitely go back.

Hands down, the best avocado toast I’ve ever had no exaggeration! Every bite was pure perfection, with the creamiest avocado, the perfect crunch, and flavors that left me wanting more. And it’s not just some basic avocado spread on toast with a few boring cherry tomatoes this is a proper, loaded masterpiece with fresh, flavorful toppings that make every bite exciting. They give you a hearty, satisfying loaf, not just a flimsy slice, and it’s worth every penny. I’m still dreaming about it!

Toast is a quaint little spot off Woodward in Ferndale. Only two parking spaces in front, you will need to drive around back for additional spaces (GOOD LUCK). Far as the Food…. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the French Toast & Fresh Strawberries/Whip Cream & crispy, seasoned Potatoes, Parmesan Grits w/ a Pineapple Mimosa. I went for a previous brunch w/ friends, but this time it was for a Mother’s Day Brunch. Packed to Capacity though. Couldn’t really talk because of the noise level. Barely any elbow room at all. Definitely go on a random weekday morning instead. Holidays are brutal. The wait staff was pleasant, but check your glasses/silverware to make sure they are cleaned properly. There was lipstick residue on my Husband’s glass. They corrected it immediately though. There is a hefty wait on Holidays, but if you stop in & get put on the waitlist for a text, it makes things much simpler. We’ll return on a more quiet weekday morning.

A favorite & staple on the breakfast scene. Tried an omelette instead of my normal French toast. That choice prompted a choice of side and I opted for the bacon fried rice. Definitely different but the rice felt like it was just missing something. All in all, you really can't miss at Toast.

This place is so good. We recently came on a double date... I got the bacon fried rice, which is so unique and delicious!! I also got a banana coffee which I have never seen anywhere else, and it's also super good. My boyfriend got the Parisian omelette which I had a bite - also incredible! I honestly don't remember what our friends got but they loved it too. The staff are very friendly!
